Rachel: Last night we reviewed the 4th of July and other actions we did this week (fracking veto override and one against Marco Rubio). We also discussed upcoming actions.

Outreach

Rachel: This Friday, July 13, 7:30 pm, is our interest meeting for the People's Spokes Councils (room 111 of 1911 Building on NCSU campus).

Fracking

Detroit: Katya is organizing fracking education for those who live in districts where legislators voted to override the veto.

New Law

Detroit: They are making a new law that says any direct action will be considered a felony.

Rachel: The City Council passed the resolution against Citizens United.

Rachel: The convention is tomorrow from 9:30 to 3:00.
