Direct Action

Rachel: The Direct Action group met last night. We organized carpooling for the DNC Sunday and started brainstorming for all the things we can do with our permit for October 13, if we get it.

Josh Bradley: A new person came to the DA meeting. She is organizing against Monsanto and has an upcoming action planned for Monsanto in RTP.

Camp

Dee: I took our bench from the camp now that it has become a parking lot again.

Proposals

That Mark be granted MailChimp and Gmail access for the newsletter. Passed.

Announcements

Mark: There is a communications conference call Monday at 8:30.

Jim: I'd like to propose that on Saturdays on which we are holding vigils in the evening, we move GAs closer to the vigil, from 4:00 to something like 6:30. I'll make that proposal when another vigil is planned.

Josh: There will be no Syria vigil tonight or next Saturday.

Dyck: Occupy Cafe is doing an Occupy Heart conference. Community weaving with the Good Neighbors Community. Anyone who needs something swaps with anyone who has it to provide. Needs and abilities are listed in a database.

Josh: Shit sucks in Brazil right now. I love everyone here.
